“Annie worked closely with us – guided us, really – to plan a retreat for nearly 100 faculty members. She facilitated the actual event beautifully. Throughout planning and hosting, she was strategic and astute to the needs of different stakeholders, and she brought great ideas to the table. Annie is a true pleasure to work with!”

How We Develop Leaders and Teams
We design and deliver Executive Coaching programs. AMI has served hundreds of global leaders using a variety of approaches, including 360-degree feedback, personality assessment, observation, interpersonal skills development, goals and goal tracking, management effectiveness skills, emotion-centered coaching, emotional intelligence, Positive Intelligence, and ontological coaching.
Results: Our coaching clients experience greater personal and professional satisfaction, increased leadership effectiveness, improved team and organizational performance, promotions and recognition, achievement of desired business results.
We create and lead team development sessions for Leadership Team Effectiveness. We assess the needs of corporate, higher ed, and non-profit leadership teams and boards to inform the design of customized programs. Then we lead intact team and individual sessions to help clients build trust, address challenging topics, increase collegiality and collaboration, clarify goals and responsibilities, chart the path forward, and ensure alignment and buy-in.
Results: Our team sessions deliver more effective and higher performing teams, and more engaged, aligned, and happier team members.
We provide customized Leadership Development Training to general and specific audiences: executives, functions, women, high potentials, and early career program participants. Each training program is designed to focus on specific identified needs and achieve defined learning goals.
Results: Participants gain awareness and understanding of their responsibilities as leaders, significantly improve their interpersonal and leadership skills, and each person gains confidence and improves their effectiveness as a leader.
We draw on our expertise in strategy, leadership and change to help clients address opportunities and critical issues.

Working to Make the World Better
We work to create positive Community Impact. We have experience designing and facilitating complex, large scale conversations with healthcare and social service systems.
For example, working with Coordinated Care Organizations in the Pacific Northwest, we collaborated to design and facilitate large scale community conversations and solution sessions. With our partners, we brought together over 150 leaders and representatives of health systems, government agencies, and community organizations, as well as clients, to listen to each other and generate ideas to improve how parts of the system can work together to serve clients better. The efforts resulted in specific collaborations to improve "handoffs" of clients and "transitions" between organizations, and a prioritized list of opportunities to improve the whole system. There were two major takeaways, in addition to the specific improvements: (1) the "aha" of how important it is to include the client in the conversation to hear their perspective firsthand, and (2) the significant positive energy and connections that result from bringing parts of a system together to explore collaboration opportunities.
A client's words
"It is my pleasure to recommend Annie, she is a consummate professional with many skills and experience. When I joined NYU in 2016, I asked Annie to assist me in my startup planning and strategy. Annie was well organized and brought much experience and knowledge to the process of building an organization. After much success, I hired Annie as a full time employee in the challenging role of strategy, planning and employee/customer engagement. Here, Annie enacted much change and drove the organization successfully. Annie deftly led numerous strategic initiatives including a large restructure that included 3rd parties and outsourcers. Here, we drove much higher levels of satisfaction while lowering our operating expenses."
